Can't wait to read Ruth's book - she is so funny! So happy you loved Better Man - what a wonderful concept - love him or hate him, Robbie Williams is a force of nature, and makes me laugh. Playing Nice was very good, and also Black Doves with Sarah Lancashire and Keira Knightley, and The Split is probably my favorite TV show of the last 10 years - adore Nicola Walker, and I'm sorry it's over, and also sorry their was no Christie (Barry Atsma) in the final. Loved both seasons of The Diplomat with Keri Russell & Rufus Sewell, looking forward to the next season with Alison Janney & Bradley Whitford (from West Wing).

Hi Caroline Slow Horses is great if you haven’t seen it, as was Ludwig. The next White Lotus is due out soon so the first two series are worth a look.

Love a favourites video Caroline! ❤ Some great recommendations here. My favourite recent book is Precipice by Robert Harris. A fictionesque take on actual historical events, namely the love affair between H H Asquith and Venetia Stanley at the start of WW1. A fab read, and you'll also learn something. Film: Mrs Harris Goes To Paris - just a lovely, feel good watch with a brilliant cast. TV: best recent watch is Kaos, a really entertaining modern take on Greek mythology starring Jeff Goldblum. Gutted it hasn't been commissioned for a second series. Hubby and I have also just binged Amanda & Alan's Spanish Job. They renovate an old house, part interiors show, part travelogue, part friendship/love. 😊 I have bought the escape room game, right up my street! Thanks Caroline. Xxx

Thank you Caroline, you know I love your favourite videos especially book reviews, and thanks for reading out the titles. I watched Playing Nice too. Brilliantly acted but tense. The author loves a nasty man! I enjoyed the traitors so watched 2 series of the Australian one and they are worth watching to the end. Very entertaining. Love Will’s board game and will get as presents. Loved The Liar film and the Split special. I was concerned that it wouldn’t be good as I loved the way the series ended. I was delighted with the special, what a great cast, I hope that’s the last of it now. Leave those characters to rest! Apparently a new “Split” with new women and set in Manchester is on the way. That should be good. I can’t read or watch dementia themed stuff either and don’t think I ever will. I’m rereading the five Cazalet Chronicle books by Elizabeth Jane Howard and I’ve loved Elizabeth Strout’s novels too. I hope you have a lovely February, I’m so glad it’s getting a bit lighter. 💕

I too like the burgundy mascara Caroline. I have also just bought the eyebrow liner that you recommended in a previous video. Truly it is a case of you try, I buy! I feel that it is going to be the same with books and films now Caroline. I will definitely be getting the books and watching the films that you recommend. Hubby and I are off to Barbados (which we love) at the end of this month. We are so looking forward to it. I will take you with me. x

As usual very watchable video. You saying you gave up on reading a book. It was something until now I could never do, now like my life in general I don't waste my time on something I am not wholehearted in to. Must say Caroline, doing a close up so we could see the mascara, which incidentally I will buy, we saw you skin up close. Beautiful Caroline, absolutely beautiful. Give us your secret or do you have a mirror in the attic.😂

Hi Caroline. Loved the split. I didn’t realise that “Archie” was Dame Maggie Smiths son. I’m currently reading The Bee Keeper of Aleppo. Quite strange but absolutely horrifying what some refugees have to suffer until they are safe from death/persecution. Also reading a Donna Leone novel set in Venice. A crime novel but slightly more cerebral and not gory at all. Learning lots about Venice in her novels. 📚. Thanks for sharing 🙋🏼🏴

Hi Caroline, the best book I read last year was Any Human Heart by William BoydI. It has stayed with me. It is the journals of a man, Logan, whose story is remarkable: with so many plot twists and major changes. And yet each phase of his life and activity is believable as his life touches famous people including the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Ian Fleming and many more. It very special.

You are very persuasive 😄i was impressed by three of your favourites, so much so, i ordered them all 😅the seasoning, hair care, and three tier storage you mentioned in the previous videos I think my own recommendation, from Amazon is dried raspberries, amazing to sprinkle on desserts, adding a zing to ice-cream and smoothies, fabulous in a homemade rocky road, which I'm addicted too at the moment...Thinking you were asking for a book or film recommendation though ..apologies 🤣

Thank you for recommending that hair product - will try that, and will also try the mascara as I find black is too harsh. Books and films - these are very personal tastes, aren’t they? I rarely read novels, much prefer biographies/autobiographies. Love your jumper - very pretty.

Hi Caroline, thank you for sharing with us, I love soft socks but are they warmI am afraid warmth comes first with me as I hate having cold feet. Love your jumper, it looks very pretty but not over the top ( I do not mean that to sound rude). Please take care and stay safe.

Very much enjoyed this round up Caroline ❤ My favourite socks are Nordic socks. I too was drawn to the burgundy mascara and love it. I don’t read as much as I should but I enjoyed your review. I thought that The Good Liar was a good film. Will ask my son if he has seen Heretic as he is a fan of horror. I hated the first Joker film too at the cinema and left early. Thank you ❤ Ps ordered the hair product.

Plus I’m an avid reader and find your reviews helpful, you seem to do such a lot with your time , makes me feel a bit of a couch potato 😅 do you like psychological thrillers, I discovered Chris Carter last year., and can recommend if you do. Thank you for all your vlogs love following you, bit jealous of all the weight you’ve lost 😠 but wish you well in your journey x

Hi Caroline, I would like to recommend any book by Shari Low, my eyesight is not what it was so I listen on audible, the usual narrator is Helen Mcalpine and she is brilliant. Shari’s books have new and old characters in them and her writing is second to none, give her ago I think you will enjoy. ❤ I also recommend Grace and Frankie with Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen and Sam Waterson, funny and wonderfully acted, and finally Black Doves on Netflix ❤❤❤

It was useful and interesting, Caroline. At the moment I’m re-watching Dexter which I’m enjoying. The latest film I saw at the cinema was “A Complete Unknown”. It’s a biopic of Bob Dylan. Excellent performance by Timothee Chalomet and an interesting film, but my goodness, Dylan seems to be a pretty horrible person.
