i am loving the wipdown trend i've been seeing all over insta and youtube as it's motivating me to do my own (currently at 17 wips including a couple of long term blanket wips). yay for the seaglass sweater fitting better than expected!

Do it! I'd love to see it.

YES PLEASE to posting outfits. I enjoy seeing how outfits get pulled together. I did a similar thing for myself ( not on social media) when I started sewing most of my clothes. It helped me plan what I wanted to make next and pushed me to try new combinations 😊.

Love the idea of seeing the hand knits you are wearing! I want to be more intentional this year about wearing my hand knits whether it be a garment or an accessory. Thank you for your podcast. ❤ Happy Knitting 🧶 🎉

thanks for sharing your wips need to go through my wips life is too short I am 76 so I need to either finish or frog. Definitely frog your cardi I have a Douglas cardi by andrea mowry and its way too big and just sitting there without the button band on so I am going to be brave and frog it. 😊 that feels liberating happy knitting

Glad you decided to keep working on the seaglass! Did you block it before trying on? I'm working on a sweater now that I've calculated will grow by 8cm around based on how my gauge swatch changed before and after blocking. It can make a big difference!

Field Day is definitely a 🐸! I haven’t checked gauge but fluffier yarn I have been looking at Darling Cardigan by Kutovakika, Instant Gratification Cardigan by Minimi Knit Design, Lazy Daisy Cardigan by Rachel Kurihara (minus the daisys), Empire State Cardigan by Knitatude, KAL Cardigan by Perfectly Knotted, or Home or Grandpa Cardigan by Caidree. That yarn you chose is beautifullllll ❤

Glad you tried on the Sea Glass! It looks really good. For the Cotton Fluff, Hinterm Stein has a few DK cardigan/jacket patterns that might work if you’d prefer not to reknit Field Day in a smaller size. Take a look at Pocket Edition and Cross Pockets. I always get excited about patterns with pockets even though I rarely put anything in sweater pockets. 😂

My Sea Glass sweater was small too. I am about ready to start a new one (a few years later).

Try blocking your sea glass and seeing if it changes size. It doesn’t have to be finished, pop it on barber cord.

About the sea glass: if it’s super wash will it grow? Could you steek it and add ribbing for a cardi?
@kristenklemann95479 ай бұрын
Love the Seaglass sweater! Too bad you have to frog the cardi but I think it's the right call. Any reason you wouldn't just re-knit the same thing in a smaller size?

I would not rip out the turquoise cardigan. I love an oversized cardigan. They are so cozy.

Too late - ha! I think it would have been way too oversized. But, plan to cast on another and want it to be that 'just right' oversized fit.

Yes, even when I enter my goals in a planner .... I get bored with bigger projects, and keep casting on something new, and quicker 😂🤘🏼😬☺️🧶💫
