The banner on the 6:38 mark was indicating T1's run last year, they fought LNG, JDG and WBG slaying all LPL teams and hoisting the trophy 🙂

Your take is proof that you aren't an LP fan, you are a Chester fan. and that's fine, it's hard not to be a Chester fan. But this incarnation of LP is what the surviving members deserve to continue their legacy as LP. LP was always a band, Mike, Rob, Joe, Chester, Dave, Ron... always more than just Chester or Mike. For the LOL stuff, caPs vs. Oner with both of them switching champions (especially since caPs has made a career of being diverse) is so on point. Faker's entrance is pure gold: The GOAT has arrived.

One of the more interesting things is the fact that the League of Legends channel titled the video Heavy is The Crown ft. Linkin Park as if the song belongs to them as LP is just a feature hahaha.

It’s kinda funny how T1 fans are saying there’s too much LP and not enough Faker even though riot has thoroughly glazed this year by making him a HOFer as an active player and gave him a $500 skin 😂. It’s pretty common for bands to add new members under the same name. Fun facts: the drummer is also new and no one is even noticed. Chester also wasn’t an original member. Mike Shinoda, the rapper, is responsible for a lot of LP’s sound and his rap style is definitely its own thing, love it or hate it. But he can do “traditional” rap. He’s on track with Lupe and Ghostface called “Spraypaints & Inkpens”. Full disclaimer: not trying to tell what you can and can’t like, just trying to provide a little context. Great video tho!

Yeah i find it funny how there's a bit of a seperation between the LoL fans and the LP fans here. Tbh I'm not a fan of "Rock Rapping" as a whole. Even Papa Roach has some tracks like that and I just find it kind of bland to what I'm familiar with. I do get that trying to add traditional rap to a rock track is hard and that style fits it better to stay on beat etc.. Thanks for the info! Appreciate it. Glad you liked the video! :)

It's because you had the sickest Esports story lines to work with. T1 Climbing back on top after 7 yrs. Losing to Drx in the finals last year,underperforming throughout the year and called chokers,Fakers injury,the last korean team left against all Chinese teams in the world's held in Korean soil, Fakers revenge on Ruler who defeated him 8 yrs ago in the finals. The face of your sports, aka the GOAT player and team finally rising up from purgatory. So yes I think it's justified. Just make an arcane music video like they did for imagine dragons if you wanna showcase LP more than the players. It's like you had GRR Martin yet still made GOT season8.😂

@@Tenz220So you’re saying it wasn’t enough for Faker to be inducted into the Hall of Fame as an active player, receive a battle pass which highlights his whole journey as a player, a 37 minute documentary which includes your desired retelling last year’s worlds, a $500 skin, a chibi little legend in TFT (a game that he doesn’t play competitively) and being the focal point of the new mv as the one with the crown? Focus on other players? Sure, thats a fair assessment. LP has been around a lot longer than LoL. It’s probably just a kind gesture from Riot to feature them a little bit more since it’s their first return since their lead singer died 7yrs ago. But if you can only be satisfied, not by more player focus, but by another 20-30s of Faker and T1 in a year where Riot went above and beyond to celebrate him, to each their own I guess 🤷

@BethhKim I guess the fact that's it's the official T1 channel that put out the doc might've been a big hint you numb nut. If you want a link in Park mv, make it on arcane. The world's is about the players.
