JAP Hill climb special - Master Engineer hand builds a very special car

What an amazing creation!! built by an engineer and it really showed, looked half biplane half car. It was utterly beguiling to behold. The JAP ( J. A. Prestwich Industries) engine a former record breaker with 100bhp on tap when running on ethanol. I am sure this will be a star at Prescott when his motorcycle sidecar race experienced friend takes it up there. Also the transport was a treat too good old Field Marshall tractor was fab too.
(What a nice bunch and clearly a family of 100% confined petrol heads too).

That was on pure methanol he felt 80bph on petrol would be realistic. It was off a record breaking bike I think he said possibly from Australia 🇦🇺 (but might have to confirm that)

My first thought was, if it's air cooled, it won't make that power long, but for hill-climb events, it's perfect.
