Thanks for watching! We have access to the JAL First Lounge in HND due to our Oneworld Emerald Status. Other business class passengers get access to the Sakura Lounge.

Thanks for the review, I'm flying this route next month out of HND and was curious if the JAL lounge was still allowing J passengers in First Class lounge like they were doing precovid but it does not look like it. I'm OW Emerald as well so it wouldn't have mattered but I'd prefer it less crowded. Were you able to get a look at Row 5? Seems like it's a bit separated from the rest of Business Class. Thanks again for the review.

Thanks for watching! At the time of the flight, the Sakura Lounge was already open so only First and OW Emeralds had access to the F lounge. I actually prefer Row 5 because of the mini cabin. Enjoy your flight and safe travels!

Delta flyer here, wow the food at JAL's HND first class lounge blows away Delta's for sure. In flight Japanese meal too. Not sure about the hard product tho, looks like D1 is ahead here but likely way behind JAL first.

This was last year 2023. People have been wearing masks in public in Japan even before COVID, so it was not uncommon for passengers to wear masks even today on flights to/from Japan. Thanks for watching.
