Another great trip report JW!. For a moment, I thought 6'4" was travelling with you, but no! I remember that airport well, when I worked at Suntory in Australia, but I would visit the head office in Osaka. I've flown both ANA and JAL, I think I prefer ANA. Keep up the great work buddy!

Enough food, as always... ;-) It seems they changed things at KIX to the better, lounges there were poor during my trip but under construction. --- Jayden, how do you make it with your passport, with all the immigration stamps you get when you travel more or less weekly? How often do you need a new passport?

Thanks for watching! Most countries I visit don't do stamps anymore so I'm not worried :) USA, UK, Singapore, Australia etc. It's mainly Europe and Japan that take up space on my passports.

JAL and ANA's networks out of kansai is actually really small. It's mostly served by international airlines.

Japan airlines is one of the best airlines in the world in my opinion. I have only flown it once in 2019 on a b787 from Singapore to Narita and I slept for over half the flight in economy which is very hard to find❤❤

As a Vietnamese I'm so sorry for your not good experience with VietJetAir! Next time if you can, please choose a flight that they use airbus a330-300, i think it better than a321 neo for a long haul flight❤ even though their economy on the a330-300 is 3-3-3 not 2-4-2

Good review but I would mention that JAL's long haul economy product is different and superior to this.

Airside KIX seems very nice. But landside check in side seems pretty bland. Also not a fan of how there's basically no food on the departure level, not even conbinis. Btw, JAL has been slowly bit by bit upgrading their 787s, i guess this one hasn't yet.
