Great video, Jayden! Your hair looks great. Thanks for the extended KLM 747 segment at 8:53! It gave me chills and I watched it multiple times. The Hong Kong views were amazing, especially Kai Tak. I've noticed you always seem to be on the left side of the plane. Is that where the best views are? The photo of you and 6'4 on the Saily segment is adorable. I missed seeing the KLM 747 combi in HKG! They were (still are!) one of the few European airlines that fly in and out of HK during the day so I always spotted them when I did plane spotting then. Ahaha good observation about sitting on the right hand side of the plane. Usually yes I do some research about the departure and arrival view. For HK, New York LGA/JFK, Brisbane Sydney, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur Tokyo Haneda (from the west) and Adelaide you always want left hand side for landing!! Somehow most skylines are on the left 😂Anyways for Manila and Heathrow, you want the right hand side :)

Good report, would love to do that part of the Far East one day. My only far East was 12 hours at the old Kai Tak airport in the mid 1990s, returning from Australia, I could not afford to get out of the airport so remained airside. Did the rather special landing though in daylight.

Would love to try this airline some day, I used the Juneayao lounge in PVG terminal 2 on Tuesday afternoon only for a short period but I paid $48 NZD or 200RMB for entry, very nice lounge and brand new I believe. I flew Air China from Tianjin to Shanghai and onwards on Air New Zealand to Auckland. I'm 29 credits off airpoints silver :D

Nice video and yes I love to see the air bridge ❤...only once did I flew on their a330-900 neo and that was my first flight in their economy post COVID.. subsequent flights were all a350s and I tried all classes ...and all from Singapore to Taipei...they are awesome but I will fly them I guess no more simply becos I lose our my points as they are only currently partners with Alaska! And when they move to one world I still don't get anything since I am only star alliance...I love your video of the take off scenes of Kowloon and the old Kai Tak! Yes their meal service is awesome their toilets and their branded toilet rolls! Oh the cards they gave all business class pax without asking and yes I do agree their pasta on a short flight with primarily asian pax is a little let down...❤Also I won't recommend premium economy because economy is good enough ...❤

No I haven’t, thought about travelling with them to Australia next week but booked Qantas from Hong Kong instead. Capital won’t offer domestic connections to Adelaide. Melbourne/Sydney-Adelaide costs more than Hangzhou-Melbourne 😂😂

Really Nice trip here Jayden and besides HKG-TPE as a busy international route to or from HKG which is HKG-MNL which you and your mum spellout when using simplified text as 香港 (HKG) to 马尼拉尼诺阿基诺国际机场 (MNL Paliparang ng Maynila Ninoy Aquino). Basically HKG-MNL route is operated like HKG-TPE with flights 24/7 the catch with that is CX having the better planes over 5J the 11am departure and the PR fleet one of them is in the video at 3:38-3:42 RP-C9907 PR301 11:25am from HKG arrive NAIA T1 13:25. Between CX JX and CI which one of them is the better choice on HKG-TPE route? For HKG-MNL my family is split on that My father will go 国泰航空 CX since it's the route that gave him his OWE status but my mum will go PR 菲律宾航空. Snoopy Boarding Pass 4:30 followed by Snoopy meal 13:38 and if you must choose between Starlux Snoopy vs Eva Air (长荣航空) Hello Kitty which one will you choose on HKG-TPE?

Just some silly rumours about CX and Starlux. Like people said (1) CX would not make it during covid but look at their profits now, and (2) Air China will switch Cathay to oneworld but people don’t realise Cathay also own shares of Air China, what about Air China join oneworld 😂 My perspective is that Starlux is a smaller airline, so when they/if they join oneworld, many of their passengers will end up on Cathay (not the other way round like most people speculate) so it’s win-win for both.

Frequency definitely Cathay. EVA and Starlux offer more in terms of food and amenities I think. Inflight entertainment and lounge access (if you have) - Cathay Consistency Cathay and Starlux. You might get EVA a321 and China Airlines 737 with no TV

5:40, Bro the bigger in flight entertainment TV is similar and identical to fly Dubai, Boeing 737 Max 8 that I flew from Dubai to Tel Aviv for the 1st time last June (I stay 1 week in Tel Aviv, including visiting Jerusalem, it's good, okay and awesome.), flight is empty, less than 40% full, flight is good and okay, 3 hours, for the 1st time, they provide water and meal for free, wow as long as I request for water, the in flight map is interactive, which is good, but if I want to watch movie, have to pay, same as Jetstar, it's not good, 7:32, Same as yours, we have the exact thing on fly Dubai, but it's different, no wifi and the lavatory is small, the sink is tiny, the side of my hand.
