Delta Airlines had come to a stop while waiting for de-icing. When Japan Airlines (JAL) attempted to pass behind, a collision occurred. It is worth noting that the Delta aircraft was stopped significantly beyond its designated position, effectively obstructing the path of the JAL aircraft. However, the air traffic control tower had issued a clearance for the JAL aircraft to proceed, meaning JAL is not entirely at fault. It is important to verify whether the position of the Delta aircraft and the instructions from the control tower were appropriate.

the delta was stopped because a deice truck was in the way. JAL was about 6 feet over the line because they were worried about the Korean wide body ahead. I have watched the video at the airport. Where I work. For the airline with the smaller plane. That’s in the hangar right now. With the vertical stab removed.
