I've started learning Japanese a week ago, and I've learnt katakana and hiragana already. It's still difficult to speak since there is no Japanese people near where I live or people who do watch anime nor just speak Japanese, I've heard of apps/wepsites where you can talk with native speakers but my parents won't let me get in contact with them because their over protective- So I watch your videos and other videos with and without subtitles and repeat what the people say and try to memorize the words and how to use them on different sentances! A tip is to not try to say what they say in anime because their expressions aren't really how irl people would say, for example in jojo's bizarre adventures (my brother told me this btw-) they say some words differently than how you would say them irl, so what I recommend is watching native Japanese speakers or fluent Japanese speakers and watch their videos with and without subtitles! I hope I helped someone! - Claire
