Same kind of bass here where I live in San Jose California 🇺🇸 they are so intelligent and are EXTREMELY and I mean EXTREMELY finicky. People still catch em though I think it probably has something to do with how pressured the lakes in this area are. I usually have better luck at local rivers for that reason :) I really like flipping weeds and ned rigs.

Where I’m at in urban Dallas Texas bass are pressured in every pond in urban area ponds with clear water I would recommend fishing when it’s going to be a new or full moon and fish with a old school green pumpkin zoom fluke or watermelon seed color or a use a zoom trick worm and “swimming worm rig” it if the fluke doesn’t work ✌️
