Kendel Kadowaki-Fleming and Lachlan Yamamoto-Lake put on 258 runs in an unbroken opening partnership against China in the East Asia Cup. The match took place at Mission Road Cricket Ground on 15th February 2024.

Only players of japanese decent should be able to play for the national team.. Nations that use players from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh like UAE and USA will never be able to grow the game in their countries because the locals will not be relating to the players or their journey of how to improve and become a good cricket player

Oh shut up. By this logic people like Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali can't play for England and Usman Khawaja can't play for Australia, that's literally racism to not include people just because of their race. Your whole point of having local players so that more people from that area will watch is stupid because you need to actually play good cricket in order to attract viewers and if you try to play only people that are not your best options then you're not going to go anywhere. Instead of talking about including certain types of players, why don't you instead focus on saying that countries should invest more in developing infrastructure and ask the ICC to help them do that in order to allow local talent to pick up the sport and thrive at it.
