Please do more living in Japan stories. Its great to see and hear some of the story. I'm so inspired by how comfortable you look in all your outfits. I long to have a wardrobe of garments that just work!

It’s wonderful to see the beauty of Tokyo through the eyes of an English speaking visitor. I watch several Japanese podcasters simply because their quiet esthetic is very soothing, one of which is also a garment maker. I’d love to see these fabric shops you were talking about, too. As much as I love to watch your sewing videos, it’s great to mix things up occasionally.😊

I’m so jealous! Thank you for sharing Japan with us. My husband worked in the US for a Japanese company for 10 years. We traveled there a few times (him more than me) and we love it. I also have an adopted Japanese son and now little Japanese American granddaughters….so so beautiful 😊. We have a garden along our river in trees donated by our Japanese sister city donated and the cherry blossoms were spectacular this year. Have a wonderful time and can’t wait to see fabric shopping..

How wonderfully fun... great experience for you both. Love your cross-stitch. I have just started teaching two of my granddaughter's how to cross-stitch and they are enthralled with it. Their first ones, are the stamped ones, but they are watching me following a pattern. I sew also, and out of 22 grandchildren, so far, I am happy to have two to work with! Have a wonderful time together in Japan.

My son and daughter-in-law have just returned from Japan Janelle, from their belated honeymoon, they were going in 2020 but of course the pandemic hit and they had it cancelled 3 times. But like you they absolutely loved it and the Japanese people who were so friendly. You’ve also inspired me to get out my cross stitch that’s been in my cupboard for 2 years. Yes we’ve learnt a little (and I mean a little!). We both took 3 months of lessons two days a week, and have been studying on our own as well for about a year. Matt’s better at speaking it then I am, but I’m a little better at listening/understanding so we are a good team! We understood some wait staff talking about us yesterday which was interesting and slightly off-putting 😅
