I will be honest. Japan government only has themselves to blame. Just like how we blame the American government for tolerating these online fools and harassers. In their country they request us to speak their language, but they don't do this by themselves in japan. My son and his family went to Japan last year for his birthday. He and my college granddaughter speak Japanese, learned in Texas from a teacher over the internet in Japan. Hi mid-20s son and my daughter-in-law don't speak the language. So they had to split up if they wanted to go different places, one speaker with one non-speaker. They love Japan, my granddaughter is studying to become an English teacher and teach in Japan. They honor the culture and I bet any one of them would stop the idiots from America who are giving them a bad name and tell them to either go away, fly home, or get arrested. I used to live in Tokyo in Kitashinjuku from 2016-2017. I'm half black/half white and also speak Japanese very well and write/read it.
