We left Japan in 1971 Just after the Worlds Fair in Osaka. Alas, as an Air Force brat we liked on base (Yokota) I would love to return, but fear the spoiling of very happy Childhood memories. Plus I can’t read Japanese. Returning to the US I was fluent as a 10 year old. But after 50 years, I’m watching Anime to see what I can understand and I sit at about 20%. My how the language has changed! I shop in what few Japanese markets are available in Central Ohio, and must rely on seeing what is in the packages. I so enjoy your videos and they fuel my desire to return ‘home’ to visit! Thank you so much!
