In America we get a big snowstorm we get crazy lines. Ive seen Mount Snow have waist deep powder and some of the lines for the lifts were an hour long. My local Ski place when they get alot of Snow staff are there 1-2 hours early waiting to ride in the powder because people would wait to leave when the place opens up.

You need to do a safety course. Look up Tsugapow DBD, thats what the area is called. If you don't have an armband, you have your lift pass taken for being in there

The people who are working there dont want you to ski off-piste, because it kinda destroys the young trees. So they take it when they see you there. But its basicly like this in every resort all over the world. But who cares, if you've ever experienced something like this, you are willing to do just anything for the next powder run :)

Illusionz in Japan off pist is forbidden in most of the ski resort. If they catch you, you need to give your ticket... Some places like Niseko allow off pist. Or in some limited area!

Jon - another great video but you need to promote mountain safety. You have a huge audience and are an influencer. You don't talk about the avalanche forecast or even using a transceiver which I am sure are things you do in the background. People watching this aren't aware of the prep that goes on, that the heli-guides did in CMH and you may do to be safe on the mountain! Promote Safety especially to those that will try side/backcountry skiing for the first time after watching your videos!

Robert Barakat he also doesn't speak about what might happen if anybody goes skiing off piste. There is a reason why Marcus lift- card was taken. Think about what the tracks look like during summer.

Natalie Schultz ticket was taken as the forests are sacred to the Japanese. it is not a safety reason why the pass was taken. but yes tree skiing is dangerous and also not great to ski them alone.

I would agree he could of mentioned a little something while he was in Canada, but he's at a resort and just hitting the tree's between trails here. Resort's do avalanche prevention before lifts open.
