@@santacruzbicycles2841 I raced against him oh so many years ago. I say raced. he smoked the field on a DMR hardtail whilst I careered down with less pace. I think I may of even interviewed him for a website.

Oh man, I had to wince seeing the stereotypical shot of mt fuji with whatever someone found in the royalty free music library when searching for Japan... Course they were riding looked good though. Most of the riding here (in Japan) is either offseason ski resorts or sneaky single track. And bikes and components cost twice as much as they do in the US/EU.
