@Bane_Amesta Жыл бұрын
@@Todd-_-Umptious It seems that this kind of summary titles are becoming more common in Japan. Specially when it comes to light novels. People don't want to lose time and money on something they won't like (aka lazyness to me, but who am I to judge? 😒) to even take the book and flip it to read the summary on the back, so they want to know exactly what they're getting into before buying. Also, I really appreciate you giving every game its deserved time instead of going "Panty shot game? Same. I swear I've seen someone else talk about City of Shadow, but forgot all about it in the meantime. Funny thing about pervy panty shot games, is that ClementJ642 did a review on the Gal*Gun series recently, and he got legitimately upset to the point of hilarity, of how he thought it was condesending, ridiculous, and "not funny at all" how unapologetically pervy the game was, with how you undress these girls without consent, despite him knowing it's a videogame where no actual real life people get hurt. I was like, chill dude! You are making waaay more of an issue out of this than you should.

Kyoei Toshi is essentially my dream Kaiju game, and one of the few PS4 titles I've imported. Most devs seem to think people only want to *be* the Kaiju, which I get, but I always wanted to play one of the humans on the ground trying to survive. The disaster element is my favorite aspect of Kaiju films in the first place. I would love for it to be localized one day, but I'd settle for a spiritual follow up that uses only the Godzilla or another single IP to avoid the copyright nightmare.

That first game where you survive in a kaiju battle city looks super cool, will definitely check that out! A warning for anyone interested in the last game with the long name (just called "Natsuiro" for short): that game is absolutely not beatable without the strategy guide even if you read moon runes. The events are all day and time of day sensitive, and due to how short the day night cycle is and how big the island is and how many npcs there are to talk to you can't just walk around and talk to everyone until you trigger an event. Also the game is filled with "how was I supposed to figure that out on my own?!" moments. The game doesn't have any mission markers, and dose nothing to guide you as to what you should be doing. Beating that game is a quest itself. Also the strategy guide is not well organized either. Cool game though if the horny doesn't bother you.

A Fire emblem esque game where instead of knights and magic your units are made up of giant robots and vehicles, both original characters and characters licensed from various IP's, the newest game featured Ultraman, Gridman, some Transformers offshoots, Victory Gundam, Sakura Taisen and various others. You know Thor, have you ever thought about doing a video covering PC FX titles? That 2d only 1995 console is a goldmine for bizarre titles that never left Japan (mainly because the console itself never left Japan, but even then those titles that did get ported to other consoles also never left Japan.) The fact that the system's killer apps at launch were a first person anime fmv fighting game and a survival horror style game with tank controls but it's possibly the only game that does 2d sprites on pre rendered 3d backgrounds should be enough to get you interested to dig deeper.
