Your husband has a fun and cheerful personality! Traveling with my husband feels much more fun than a regular trip. There are many comedians in Osaka, and ordinary people also make many jokes. Osaka people love people like your husband!

When you go from Nagoya to Minami, we recommend Kintetsu Limited Express Hinotori (Firebird). It takes about 2 hours, but you can go downstairs to Namba Walk without changing trains. And much cheaper than the Shinkansen. The seats are regular cars at the JR green car level, and premium cars at the JR gran class level. There is no on-board salesperson on the train, and there is a can of PET bottles, a machine of freshly ground coffee and a vending machine of coffee snacks. In the other comment section, I heard that you would like to visit Ise Jingu, but I also recommend Kintetsu Limited Express rather than JR. We also recommend the limited express Shimakaze, which only makes one round trip per day, but it may be difficult to make reservations due to its popularity. The food offered at the cafe car is not too expensive for the ingredients that are all delicious and expensive. The Shimakaze is a vehicle that can also be used as a calling train for His Majesty the Emperor.

First time in Japan two weeks ago. Spent most of our time in Kyoto, Tokyo, and Kanazawa. I hope to hit Osaka, Nara, Kobe, and maybe Okinawa next spring. Glad I went, but did feel a bit overwhelmed with crowds in big cities. Everything so clean and felt very safe throughout Japan. Most locals looked very stressed to me , I'm sure from long hours at work and long commutes. Enjoyed your videos, will watch them again before I make another visit. Thank you.

This is the second comment. Welcome to Osaka! Probably, as I said, is the city with the most popular food in Japan. Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, Kushikatsu are all reasonable and delicious. It is also the most friendly and loved city in Japan. Prices are not as high as Tokyo, and it is the fifth most livable city in the world to beat Tokyo. Uptown and downtown are mixed, and downtown is also a great funky city. If you come to Japan again, please stay and enjoy Osaka.

Very informative as always Renata, the stand on the right and walk on the left on escalators is the same as in London and the UK in general, the same on travelators. Surprised that different cities are different. Have you seen any of the new type of escalator there, a moving incline so that it is wheelchair accessible?

Hi Tony! Thanks! No, we haven't seen this type. The only different one we saw was this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3nHpKOjf8x4bcU - but it's not wheelchair accessible 😕. All the best!

Renata, I remember one of your earlier vlogs mentioning breaks that Tokyo gives foreigners. Tax breaks at the stores? Pretty cool. Also, is there any buzz about possible conversion to digital currency? Hearing and reading reports about China getting close. Imagine that might have the Japanese buzzing. (DenDen Town? Video Games?!!) Wow. "You missed the joke...no I didn't, I'm trying to fix it!" Lololol!!!! I LOVE YOU TWO!!!!

😂😆🤗😉 Thanks, Arthur! About digital currency, I thought Japan is actually way behind China, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, even Thailand. They are very conservative, lots of machines everywhere, technology, but the machines only accept cash. That was a big surprise to me.

Dzięki Japonii.Dziękujemy za kochanie Chopina.

Just a little tips : if you come from Nagoya heading to Osaka, ride 'kintetsu train - limited express' instead of Shinkansen, you will save 40%-50% your money💴💵 the train quite similar w/ shinkansen, and the time frame only less 30-45menit from shinkansen. The kintetsu train station next to JR shinkansen station within Nagoya Station (next to takashimaya shop).

Tapioca is in evidence in Brazil and Asia. Coming to Japan via Taiwan but with a difference in shape, although both are made from cassava starch.

Osaka, Japan. What's d cost like travelling in Japan? Back in d 1990s, I've been informed by my ex colleagues from Tokyo that's d cost of living is ridiculously expensive in Japan. Is this true from yr experience? I luv tempura, tempayaki n teriyaki, not sushi. Japanese people, very disciplined n very workaholic, that much I do remember.
