When you go from Nagoya to Minami, we recommend Kintetsu Limited Express Hinotori (Firebird). It takes about 2 hours, but you can go downstairs to Namba Walk without changing trains. And much cheaper than the Shinkansen. The seats are regular cars at the JR green car level, and premium cars at the JR gran class level. There is no on-board salesperson on the train, and there is a can of PET bottles, a machine of freshly ground coffee and a vending machine of coffee snacks. In the other comment section, I heard that you would like to visit Ise Jingu, but I also recommend Kintetsu Limited Express rather than JR. We also recommend the limited express Shimakaze, which only makes one round trip per day, but it may be difficult to make reservations due to its popularity. The food offered at the cafe car is not too expensive for the ingredients that are all delicious and expensive. The Shimakaze is a vehicle that can also be used as a calling train for His Majesty the Emperor.

First time in Japan two weeks ago. Spent most of our time in Kyoto, Tokyo, and Kanazawa. I hope to hit Osaka, Nara, Kobe, and maybe Okinawa next spring. Glad I went, but did feel a bit overwhelmed with crowds in big cities. Everything so clean and felt very safe throughout Japan. Most locals looked very stressed to me , I'm sure from long hours at work and long commutes. Enjoyed your videos, will watch them again before I make another visit. Thank you.

This is the second comment. Welcome to Osaka! Probably, as I said, is the city with the most popular food in Japan. Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, Kushikatsu are all reasonable and delicious. It is also the most friendly and loved city in Japan. Prices are not as high as Tokyo, and it is the fifth most livable city in the world to beat Tokyo. Uptown and downtown are mixed, and downtown is also a great funky city. If you come to Japan again, please stay and enjoy Osaka.

Just a little tips : if you come from Nagoya heading to Osaka, ride 'kintetsu train - limited express' instead of Shinkansen, you will save 40%-50% your money💴💵 the train quite similar w/ shinkansen, and the time frame only less 30-45menit from shinkansen. The kintetsu train station next to JR shinkansen station within Nagoya Station (next to takashimaya shop).
