Great idea for a video! I would argue the cups you drink the coffee out of have a bit impact on the taste of the coffee. Great video! Do you have any tips for travelling in Japan with lactose intolerance? I assume with food, it's very rare that they cook with butter, cream or cheese (unless its an obvious part of the dish), but is there anything in particular to watch out for or ask for?
@Sunny_in_Japan2 ай бұрын
Hi Andrew! That’s right, the diet is not as dairy- heavy in Japan as many western countries. Having said that, the concept of lactose intolerant is also not as prevalent Cafes and desserts are the biggest culprits because they’re more likely to be westernised, but most places serving Japanese food will use at most butter There are many western-style restaurants that use dairy, however If unsure, I recommend just learning a few relevant phrases like ‘is there dairy’ and ‘allergy’ so you can ask

Everything on the menu is great, and the owner keeps it fresh by bringing in new beans regularly. He also makes his own blends for the milk drinks, which is also constantly being tweaked
