His voice is so calming. It calms me down when I'm angry or stressed, makes me smile when I'm sad, and helps me sleep when I'm having trouble doing so. This video, in and of itself, helps me know what he's saying when I forget the translation too. Bonus!~ Also... Japan, please don't dye your hair blond! I know you are becoming very 'westernized', but please keep it black! I think it looks better that way. *puppy dog face* ○n○

I agree. Blonde hair just doesn't fit him. Besides, France's seiyuu is -after my knowledge- the only one who's hair is blonde.

I love Japan. His songs have very deep meanings, not like Italy's or Spain's. This only shows how much he have changed over the past centuries. He have gone through much, he actually regrets leaving China in such a state. He is very mature for countries his age. He says in this song that he is very sorry for all the things he have done and he admits his "Westernization" and he thinks that by singing this song, he can no longer be guilty that he have westernised and left some old traditions that are upwelling and important. He is saying sorry that he forgot these traditions and promises to uphold and love this traditions again.

Oh my god, five years ago I used to love this song and would listen to it everyday. Now it’s absolutely hilarious to go back and re-read the lyrics, but its still a really nice song to listen to ... thats why after 5 years I found myself humming it!

Nihon and Igirisu have the most relaxing voices of all Hetalia Characters. And this character song is beautiful! 3:05 Mandarin. Mandarin is the most spoken Chinese language. Japan just said he loves China's language. (I can't deny it, Mandarin is beautiful)
