In our latest video, we attended the 【Japan's Premier Railway Model Art Festival: Gathering of Railway Model Geniuses!】 Held on March 16th (Saturday) and 17th（Sunday）in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, organized by the Japan Railway Modelers Association, this festival, now in its 9th edition, attracted a large crowd.
The footage we're sharing was carefully filmed and edited, with permission obtained from each booth exhibitor and the former director, graciously allowing us to share it on KZbin. We sincerely appreciate their cooperation. Thanks to them, railway fans and model enthusiasts worldwide can enjoy this video.
Unfortunately, due to logistical issues, next year's festival is canceled, postponing this delightful event until 2026. We created this video to share this precious and enjoyable time with you. Thank you very much for precise report on our festival! I am a member of "Oka jokies" (from 37:27 on your movie). As you predict, our prototypes are on early time around from 150 to 120 years ago; aka Meiji era, almost equally as Victorian age. Our group name is named after the nickname of steam locomotives in that age "Oka Joki", which means "land steamer". There are very few "mass-production" model trains on that ages, thus most of our models are kitbash or from scratch.

The model building on fire with the flashing red light interior was a complete surprise. I wasn't expecting to see that. So creative. Loved the fire engines, too. Sugoi. 👍
