Arigatougozaimasu for introducing me to this great model train store. Sugoi. The large diorama was so beautiful. I could spend hours enjoying all of its details. My compliments to the people who designed and built it. The green dining car at 9:15 was beautifully detailed with the lighted table lamps in the windows. I can see why building model train dioramas could be a very enjoyable hobby. I look forward to watching more of your train adventures. 👍🙂

Nice trip down memory lane having visited here back in 2014. Purchased N700A Shinkansen with additional cars,(pay full retail here though) and then the great thing is you can run what you purchase (or bring to the store) on their huge layouts. It is a great experience when you can see a 10 car trainset running at speed on their full scenic layout. Brilliant! I was reluctant to leave!

Nice. Very nice. I'm still waiting for the Kato Shinkansen E6 in 1:87 scale, to go with my Kato Shinkansen E5. The main set (3-516) I got from Tenshodo; the add-on sets (3-517 and 3-518) I found on Yahoo Auctions, when these were still available in Europe. I'm a patient man, but I'm afraid I will be waiting a very long time for the E6. The E5 was released over a decade ago. Interesting that the bodies are sold separately. I've never seen anything like it in Europe. As for the price, in Europe a 1:87 model of a highly detailed carriage will easily cost €120 to €150, which is roughly ¥20,000 to ¥25,000. That's just a single carriage.

Arrigato for bringing this interesting model railway centre to the world. My only concern is the train speeds are too excessive. They need to be travelling at half the speed to look more realistic... especially when going around bends. Stay safe and keep well. Regards from Australia. 😊

Nice store! I wished that Kato release some HO Scale Canadian passenger locomotives (DDC-ready or incl. DCC/Snd) and coaches as most model train manufactures will make Amtrak equipment for sure. I know that they made a limited N Scale run for VIA Rail Canada, CP and CN passenger cars, and the odd RDCs but that's about it that I've seen in stores in Canada. Also, need bring over more DCC compatible Japanese HO Scale train sets that N Scalers have enjoyed.

@Choo-ChooTravel - Looking at the prices for complete consists as you tour through the store, I made some comparisons with U.S. prices. i.e the 9 car consist at the 8:21 minmark. Sells for 34k yen = 224.55 USD, divided by 9 = 24.95 per traincar. That would be considered a good price in the States. That same 9-car set in the U.S. sells for over twice the KATO store price ! I can see some at higher per-car pricing, but none were too ridiculously high-priced.
