I had to remind myself that I've enough time (3 months) to try everything Rachel hahaha. Finding vegan restaurants and cafes is absolutely no problem in Tokyo and Osaka. The bigger struggle is finding varied vegan food in supermarkets I'd say. It's doable but it definitely takes more time. I'm crossing my fingers that there will be more V-labels on groceries in the future. 🤞

Freut mich, dass dir das Video so zusagt! ☺ Während meines Aufenthalts habe ich auch überlegt etwas zum Thema vegane Lebensmittel in japanischen Supermärkten zu machen, aber da sieht man beispielsweise den Unterschied zu Deutschland. So wie ich es erlebt habe, haben alle Japanischen Supermärkte komplett random vegane Sachen in ihrem Sortiment. Würde ich jetzt beispielsweise ein Video über bestimmte Produkte machen, könnte ich nicht "fix" sagen, wo es das zu finden gibt. Klar ist es einerseits interessant die Produkte zu sehen, aber ich finde es schade, wenn es nur dabei bleibt.

do you have to pay to enter the station if you want to go to t tantan even if you are not catching a train, is it the other side of the gates you have to go through? also the ones at the airport are they passed security or not? can you only go to those if you have a flight?

Yes, you've to pay for a ticket, if you're not coming from within the station at "the right side" to get to T's Tantan. I don't know how it is at the airport though. I only know and visited the stores in Tokyo.

Mmh was mich daran stört ist, dort steht immer noch englisch. Das bedeutet, sie fokussieren sich klar auf Ausländer. Das sieht man dann auch an den Preisen. Eigentlich sollte veganes Essen billiger sein als fleischhaltiges. Außerdem sieht man daran, das es nach wie vor in Japan wenig Veganer/Vegetarier gibt. Das ist traurig. Dabei ist Japan vom Buddhismus geprägt. Buddhisten sollten eigentlich kein Fleisch und kein Alkohol zu sich nehmen. Ich bin auch Buddhistin, deshalb ernähre ich mich buddhistisch. Heutzutage sind die meisten Japaner aber nicht religiös.
