There's an Up Garage in Garden Grove CA. It's not as big, but it's in the US. I'll have to go on the weekend.

That cbr250rr is super rare! I have one in my shop a couple years back. Red line was like at 20,000 rpm. It was fun to zip around on.

It's like a Goodwill for car nerds! Loved all the motorcycle exhausts and wheels. Would be a perfect place to nab parts for a race bike. @5:15 I've pulled a few leather Mini Cooper seats out of my local bone yard and turned them into gaming chairs for my race sim setups. $50 per seat, can't beat that. Pro tip: Passenger seats are usually the ones to get. Typically much less wear and less likely to have been defiled if the car was in a wreck.

I don't know I should tell my dad (a car guy) about this, I don't want to be stuck in this store for 7 hours out of 3 day-trip there where I could be hanging out in other places. He already has unhealthy obsession with thrift stores and hardware shops 🤣

Up Garage has a storefront in Southern California. It seems all locations operate as separate entities or more like franchises and focus solely on local commerce.

The Japanese swap meet store, you'll probably won't leave empty handed but good luck finding something specific...

I love the car content James. Keep up the hard work. It’s a different niche than what most of your viewers are into, but the content is top notch. If you can keep the quality at or above its current level, it would not surprise me a bit to see this channel eventually grow to be even bigger than TFBTV.

The stock exhausts are for people restoring a vehicle to factory spec. Because everyone throws out the stock exhaust, theyre seriously hard to find for some cars. Some people need oem parts to return their car to stock condition prior to selling it..

oh man I could spend hours in there. Need to find one of those inclinometer/elevation addons for old toyotas, people want like 300$ for them in the US! Also hunting an OEM mudflap with a hole cut for the exhaust. There is no chance I'll find that here.

What I learned from my trip to Japan, was that the entire country is just one gigantic shopping mall filled with treasures of all kinds. "Hard-off" another interesting store..."Up Garage" the names they give these places are pretty awesome.

Smaller houses with limited edition stuff that keeps coming out every year. Stuff's gotta go during spring cleaning. I don't think storage units are really a thing in Japan either. Hard off has been good to me for shopping for christmas gifts for friends.

episode idea... Make a whole car out of random parts from this store, and import it to the states for extra profit?

@@Baltimorons762 That was when it first opened. It's not all Spirit R seats. There's a lot of useful stuff there and the store seems to be doing ok. I sold some parts there and it was a million times easier than scheduling craigslist flakes
