surprised that the safety demo is still being carried out by the crew, the parent airline JAL has everything recorded. Japanese vehicles (planes, trains..etc) are so so clean. The first thing to notice would be the clean windows compared to dirty and stained windows of our SG carriers.

Since ZipAir does not have screens onboard, it makes sense that they do a manual safety demonstration. Yes indeed, the Japanese always keep their transportation really clean. It’s not often you will see budget airline cabins in tiptop condition 😃

if i were to ever take a flight where zipair would be an option then i gladly would free wifi on a budget airline is insane

That truly sets ZipAir from other budget airlines 🙂 You won’t even see that on most full cost airlines!

Did a crew bust you for filming? If so, that explains the censored crew face. But yea. ZIP gives me more options to fly from the US. They served SJC and will soon serve IAH...nice options for me. No need to go via SFO/LAX anymore!

One of the crew stopped me while filming, but at least she approached me in a polite manner. The other crew were not concerned about me filming, so that was fine. It’s good that ZipAir offers budget friendly connections to Japan from less popular destinations in the US. 😃

@isaacflyaway : Funny, cuz Japanese crews are usually OK with it - but usually they're stiffer than Taiwanese crews. But then again, I have been on CX, where many of the crews are Instagrammers and KZbinrs, and I got one crew stopping me from filming too.
