Well, I too have noticed that there's less or no snow at all at 1000m in the Alps this year, so it either snowed less; or it has been warmer, and probably warmer in many other places too, hence why stuff is blooming earlier...

Beautiful John, Thanks for sharing.. I have 7 different Japanese sakura in my garden in France.. I have 2 that bloom in fall all the way through to March! Autumilus/sp... Also, I just wanted to point out that in the beginning of your video, you showed us a bared cherry tree and said, 'there is not a bud on it," when in fact there were tons of buds on the branches, so maybe you meant to say not one bloom or one flower.. Cherry trees have buds in autumn, just that they grow bigger throughout the seasons, and then stay tightly closed until they are ready to come out of their bud casing and bloom.. Enjoy the Hanami season in Japan.. Wish we could be there.. We are actually and FINALLY coming back this fall! Also, I am trying to get a hold of Yoshino cherry trees here but it is really hard to have access to them.

plum tree bloom earlier than sakura. So when you go to Japan earlier, you can see plum trees too. They are also beautiful. My favorite is cycling ordinary road. Some people planted beautiful Sakura trees on them yard. When you go to temples, sometimes you can see historical Sakura tree.

Here is the same situation. Different kinds of trees have started to bloom too early. They never bloomed in February. Trees bloom too early because of the climate change.

I’m going to Japan on March 25, will the cherry blossoms still be there?
@kamehameha-hwy836 ай бұрын
Absolutely, it's essential to be respectful when photographing cherry blossoms. Manipulating the branches can be seen as disrespectful, as cherry blossoms hold cultural significance in Japan. It's best to admire them without disturbing their natural state.

I know you don't stay in Tokyo, so maybe it'll be hard to answer, but what business hotels do you think are likely to have the best views of Tracks and rail traffic? Currently, I'm torn between Remm and Washington, right next to Akihabara Station. But if you know of an even better place to see out of a hotel with constant rail traffic, I'd really like to know.
