@@Deudomo nice video and nice editing keep going 👍 best of luck
I was born in Asahikawa. As a teen, I couldnt wait to get out of it because I had bad memories from HS and thought the place was hella boring. As an adult, now that I am stuck in Tokyo, I am dreaming (and desperately planning) of living back a quiet simple life back there. I still have to consider if I can manage winter however. My body can't manage it which is why i also left. I guess I will just buy a house and rent it out when I am not there. Then live in the summer.
@DeudomoАй бұрын
I'm very happy to meet someone from Asahikawa. Asahikawa is a city that I have a lot of memories of, and I can't wait to go back. Is it difficult to live there?
@222_______________78Ай бұрын
@@Deudomo Well on a more general answer, since as you know it has the most snow, winter is challenging if you are not used to much snow. The temperature drop is also a challenge. Asahikawa is also known to be the coldest and the winter, but at the same time the hottest city in Hokkaido during summer. Ask everybody there and people would say winter is their least favorite season. But people do also enjoy getting to do skiing, I personally also like this part of winter. Apart from that, life just gets a tad more challenging when you got snow. You have to constantly shovel. You have to learn to walk on slippery roads, you have to be okay with getting out of the house with freezing temperature etc. On another perspective, I noticed people living there have significantly lessened since I last lived. And most of the people there right now are just more of tourists. So many malls I used to go to are now closed. A car is also a must here during the winter and a bike for the rest of the days where it doesnt snow...It is a nice place though because people from the province are generally nicer and warmer. Food and WATER and I emphasize WATER is way better than Tokyo. But I think there are more nice places which is less remote here in Japan. Unless you are someone like me who has nostalgic connections to the place and/or friends/relatives, it is hard to recommend it to someone to live there haha. I hear Kanagawa-Yokohama area is the best city to live in right now in Japan. Sorry for the long-ass comment
