My brother and nephew recently returned home to Canada (British Columbia, near Vancouver where the steam clock was from!) after their first amazing trip to Japan. Truly beautiful part of Japan. I just got back on the 22nd. I rode my bicycle from Chitose to Wakkanai through the mountains (Furano, Asahikawa, Biei etc), then from Wakkanai to Sapporo on the coast in 3 weeks, camping almost every night. July was rough on me, it rained for a week straight, then it was extremely hot, no in-between lol.

I went in June and it was still slightly cool, drops to around 17 at night, and around 23 in the morning.
