Japan’s Currency Technology

Japan’s currency, four banknotes and six coins, features very sophisticated technology. Banknotes have lines inscribed so finely that 10 or more fit in a millimeter, with writing that’s visible only under a magnifying glass. Coins are milled by a unique method to create angled grooves on their edges. All these technologies are very hard to counterfeit. @@azaharudin973 Yen coins start from 1. 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, 500 for coins. 1000, 5000, 10000 for bills.

@@azaharudin973 ​ about 100 years ago,Japan has Sen which means 0.1 Yen but now the bank changes it to 100 times so Yen has 10000 now. Actually Japan has 1 Yen but no demical numbers when you pay.
