Japan's emotional Artistic Swimming moment at Kazan 2015 Full length FINA World Championships

Back in 2015, at the FINA World Championships in Kazan, we had an incredible Team Technical final in Artistic Swimming that was all emotional. While Russia claimed the gold medal and China got second, Team Japan came in last to win the bronze medal with an outstanding and beautiful performance that led to tears. Beautiful performance, wow, the synchronized swimmers are not only superbly athletic but also have such beautiful lungs, I was a rescue swimmer with US special forces but this ladies are miles ahead of me, GOD bless them

As a mom of a synchro swimmer I decided to try it for myself and found out it’s literally ballet, in the water, the core strength needed is beyond imaginable. While holding my breath. I did have the privilege of seeing the Olympic team perform in person, it was unforgettable.

This was in 2015. It was the national Championship. Oh, and they came close this year to going to the Olympics. But they didn't qualify.

I still remember this, I had folks who were swimmers, and I sincerely believed the Japanese team won the gold after watching the performance. A tough way to go but at least they still scored Bronze,

Amazingly beautiful, full of power! However, this isn't the Olympics but a competition to increase chances to get the chance to be in the Olympics. The gold, silver, bronze medals can be confusing but this was in 2015 in Kazan! The next up is men's, also in Kazan 2015.

Like every other guy watching 8 identically outfitted young women with most of their hind quarters hanging out and doing splits with their crotches barely covered. I think they know what kind of looks they are going to receive. Incredible athletes for sure, but costumes can be designed in order to avoid ‘creepy camera angles’.

Excuse me? This is one of the most hardest sports out there, like you can't touch the bottom of the pool. These ladies give their everything for this sport, and then people like you say stuff like that. You're allowed to have your opinion, but if it offends others please keep it for yourself. Think before commenting. And there are boys, but that's a different event
