Very intriguing story, and also horrifying. Makes one realise how close the arms race was towards the end of the war. Great job with the script, and also with the excellent collection of images.

Interestingly that the I-400 class submarines were distant precursors to the ballistic missile submarine.

The Germans were designing barges containing V-2 Rockets to be towed by U-Boat. The plan was to get them close enough to New York, flood the barges so they would be upright, fire the rockets and return to Germany. Impressive creativity, malicious intent aside.

18:15 It's at the Udvar Hazy center near Dulles airport rather than the main Air & Space museum on the DC Mall.

We saw it at the Garber facility before Udvar-Hazy opened. We saw Enola Gay apart on the same visit. Udvar Hazy is awesome.

I don't intend to deny or argue wild here about the Unit 731 which did exist. However, I’d just like to say that we should always be cautious about referring the relevant information on it described in Seiichi Morimura’s best-sold reportage-style ‘novel’ on the unit, which on-site info gathering was in fact aided and guided by CCP, as well as several ‘atrocity confessions out of guilty conscience’ made by IJA veterans returned from those “thought reforming educational” detainee facilities in CCP governed continental regions as ‘the total sincere truth’. I’m, again, not saying that Japan had been a white knight and all, but, the same notion may apply in an opposite way to the ‘poor invaded victim’ China that was actually in their own fierce bloody civil war at that time. Besides, even the present-time propaganda-abundant PRC is inarguably and inevitablly more decent, even more democratic and transparent than any of Mao’s era China back then. So, hope you can see what I mean. Sorry for being off topic, Seiran is a beautiful warbird and my favourite.

That was nuclear bomber. For nuclear bomb you need 50 + 1 kg (110 + 2.2 lb) uranium. Japanese submarine class I 400 need to kolect pocket from German submarines U 274 and U 275. Only 2 Japanes submarine class I 400 take per 3 planes. That will be 6 planes with 6 nuclear bombs. Target was Panama chanal. One German submarines made contact with Japanese submarine. That is minimum 3 nuclear bombs.

No they did not. German Physicists *invented* Atom bombs (to be more precise discovered Fission) but only on a Theory level. And you do outing with 51kg Uranium if you have not de eloped Industry and technology to actually *build* them.

What a travesty of justice. Those thousands of victims of these horrific atrocities cry out to the United States on why were these monsters not persecuted for the crimes against humanity.
