As far as I know, the small crew that approached you to do an interview is from a show called "Why did you come to Japan?" they basically interview different foreigners who come to Japan and ask them why they wanted to come there for, and things like that. It's really cool you got to be interviewed by them!

Yes, we noticed this straightway! Severe lack of public trash bins! First few days, we ended up just holding on to our rubbish/putting stuff in our pockets until we got back to our hotel - but we learnt our lesson soon! haha!

My fiancé used to watch that TV show, if they found you interesting they would follow you for your journey! Not in a mocking way, a genuine sort of wanting to see how foreigners see their country. And they usually like the non traditional tourist stuff like the gentleman parts festival 😅 Oh and we’re going in November, it will be my first time as we met during pandemic. And Disney nintendo, and Pokémon jet/cafe are top of list, with historical sights of course.
