I liked the train ride from Narita, we landed at night so I got to see the whole city lit up. But it is like an additional 45 minutes or so.
@maydaysan27 күн бұрын
That is fair! For me, I just wanna get back home haha and Narita is too deep. But that Keisei Liner is quite nice.

I usually go with whatever flight is cheapest to get to Japan, Narita or Haneda. Usually with jet lag, that little train ride from Narita is NBD so I don't mind it but Haneda is obviously cheaper. I was going to go Haneda for my upcoming second trip but I got a deal in to Narita and out of Haneda that I had to take, and it works out with flying out from Narita to Fukuoka or Osaka to start a trip, since you can just hop on another flight without leaving the airport!! (btw domestic flights in Japan are like cheap AF my flight to fukuoka was $70 USD WITH a checked bag!!) Im getting my tonkotsu on in FUK before visiting Hiroshima then Kansai then a lil tokyo time because it is THE GOAT love your channel brotha

This was helpful info. I lived in Japan in 2016 and I'm going back with friends next April. Didn't know cash is no longer king! I paid everything in cash there. I remember staying in an APA hotel once in Fukushima and the bed took up 95% of the floor space.

If you want a cheap place to stay if you land in Haneda that's close to it is either Katama or Kawasaki. Shibuya is only 30minutes away by train and the prices are definitely worth it if you just landed in or are about to depart from Haneda.
@maydaysan27 күн бұрын
Kawasaki s indeed a shout! I think with most peoples schedules and crammed itineraries, they would probably wanna be closer to Tokyo
@TheRedValue14 күн бұрын
@@maydaysan yeah it is great if you just land/depart from there. We wanted to check out Yokohama anyways on our last day before departing so it was perfect!

Great video, maydaysan. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your insights on the nuances of traveling in Japan are incredibly helpful. How do you foresee the adoption of cashless payments evolving in smaller towns compared to major tourist areas?
