Due to earthquake-resistant design that has been mandatory since the 1950s, indoor life in Japan during the winter is very cold. The walls are very lightweight. Vulnerable to noise and temperature. Japan is a warm country, but they probably live in the world's lowest indoor temperatures during winter. Around 13 degrees on average.
