I knew it was Ichiran! It's like the ramen place that almost everyone goes to. It's really, really good. A tip for future Japan visits: Don't eat and walk around. It's one of their etiquettes. You can drink and walk but not eat and walk. For Marvel figures and stuff, you need to go to an anime store like Animate or Kotobukiya for those.

oh i see what you meant, i think you meant Hondohri as in shopping arcades. pretty common thing to see in japan. not sure if i saw much of it in korea or in taiwan. but yeah, i love the arcades, especially the ones in kansai. they give a sense of old community and neighborhood feel. the one in sendai was interesting because it was so modernized that they even had the apple shop inside. most arcades just have the standard meat shop, fruit and vegetable shops, stationary store, bookstore, coffeeshops, etc.

If you're taking product suggestions from subscribers i'm gonna recommend a mugwort mask? It sounds weird but there's one that Urban Outfitters sells. I think its called mugwort astringent + pore care sheet mask. Every time I do it my pores actually look a lot smaller and my face looks a lot brighter. Plus its a bargain since its only like $3.

ohh you went to Ichiran! one of my favourite Ramen places. There largest store is in Fukuoka. it's 4 stories tall. When I was in Japan I went to Ichiran like 3 times haha. Once in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo. soo good. there are also other amazing places for ramen too!
