I remember a Korean guy in the pub boasting how Korea beat NZ 6-1 in football. I said it would be different if it was rugby, but he had the balls to say that Korea would thrash the all blacks. Yeah right. It would be a world record against Korea. 200+ to nil
@k.jamescarters95575 жыл бұрын
Sumo Valour you do get to a maximum possible score. I mean surely if you’re Korean after conceding seven tries in first 20 minutes, you would slow things down entirely. 200 is 30 tries or one every 2-3 minutes. It’s possible but hardly fun for either side
Our Japanese national team now has great Korean prop, Gu Jiwon (sorry but I don't know the spelling). He's so strong and skilled. I wish rugby will be more popular also in Korea.

상너메거 Yeah I also had thought so until that giant killing in 2015... By the way, we now have a great young Korean prop, Gu Ji-won (具 智元, sorry but I don't know the spelling) in our Japanese national team. He's so strong, tough, and skilled. I hope rugby will be much more popular in Japan and also in Korea. From your neighbour, Japan!

Not sure how you came to the conclusion that "Japan is weak in terms of physical ability." Japan has won more Olympic medals than Korea. Japan also produced more world-class athletes than Korea. In baseball you have Ichiro Suzuki, soon to be Hall Famer, Hideki Matsui World Series MVP. Shohei Ohtani 2018 MLB Rookie of the Year and the first person since Babe Ruth to pitch 10 games and hit over 20 HR in the Major League. In MMA you have Sakuraba who is considered one the best MMA fighters of all-time. Tommy Kono is recognized as one of greatest olympic weight-lifter of all time. Kohei Uchimura is considered one of the best male gymnast of all time. Apolo Ohno is the most decorated Olympic short track skater of all time. Naomi Osaka up-and-coming women's tennis star. She recently beat Serena Williams to become the US Open Champion. Naoya Inoue bantamweight world champion and recognized as one of the best and hardest-hitting pound-for-pound boxers in the wold today. Japan has more world champion boxers than Korea. One of the best college basketball players in 2018 is Rui Hachimura. Boy, I could go on and on. And didn't Japan colonize Korea in World War II? That must of took some physical ability. Or maybe not. ;-)

Who do play rugby in Korea??? I'm surprised there is a Korean national rugby team.
Japan will be billed forever for apologies and compensation later if it makes a big difference.
