This has to be the best bike shop tour ever.. Love the cozy and homely feel of the shop.. And the name of the shop is my favourite.. Kaze means wind.. The feeling of wind around me when I ride is the best ever, it releases a lot of stress and makes me feel free.. Mr Batta really love and have great passion for bikes..

This shop really is the best! I purchased my Specialized Allez from Kaze in 2018 and Batta-san was amazing to work with! He completely customized and sized my bike appropriately while I shopped at the Aeon Nagakute mall across the street. He stopped everything (even though I showed up randomly) and really gave me a great experience, even threw in some complimentary items and made me feel right at home cycling in Japan. I brought the bike back with me to Texas and ride it regularly every day now! I'll be keeping the Kaze shop sticker on there as long as it will stick :) Everytime I ride it and have to remember the brakes are opposite I always smile and remember good times riding in Nagoya. I keep the brakes the way they were from Japan as a reminder of where I got this great bike. I was hoping you would do a video about his great shop as I lived right near here as well in Meito-ku. Thanks for posting this TWC! Very best to you!

@@TwoWheelCruise Agreed! The attention to detail and level of service is really impressive from a one-man shop. He takes great pride in his work - and over 2 years later I have never even had one issue with the Allez I got from him. I wish more people were like this! I don't see as many Specialized bikes in his shop from your video, I remember when I was there many times the area to the right on the bottom by the entrance was lined with various Specialized models. One thing I can easily say about the Japanese is that they take tremendous pride in their work and take care of their property. I really appreciate this and it was one of the reasons I really enjoyed my years in Japan :) Sad to see the large building going up next door - he had a nice open view until now!
