After reading crying in H mart, I find myself returning to this performance often. Michelle Zauner is one of the most breath taking talents of the last decade

The dog's confused She just paces around all day She's sniffing at your empty room I'm trying to believe When I sleep it's really you Visiting my dreams Like they say that angels do I came here for the long haul Now I leave here as an empty fucking hole Oh, do you believe in heaven Like you believed in me? Oh, it could be such heaven If you believed it was real Is there something you can do with yourself As I sift through the debris While I empty every shelf And flounder in the muck that I'll be drowning in so soon You can't watch me from the banks then Turn to say you're swimming too Come here for the long haul Now I leave here just an empty goddamn hole

Does anyone know if the opening piano is from a classical piece or an original by the band?

On the studio version it sounds like my blinker is on when I'm in my car

It's kinda sad that the interesting synth is drowned out the entire time. The last few seconds were actually really cool, with the violin (samples, I'm assuming) and stuff. The guitar tone was also for lack of a better word, pretty bad, but I'm sure a fully mixed studio version would sound really good

Sounds like one of the countless bands I used to play alongside of at 10-act shows in shitty bars in Philadelphia. I can't even get through this video because the music bores me to tears. Yuck.

***** Just because I don't like the kind of music you like doesn't mean I'm miserable. I'm subscribed to this KZbin channel, so I listened for a few minutes. There's a comment section, and I felt compelled to voice my opinion. I don't see misery in any of that. The only thing miserable here is this drab music (BUUUURRRNNNN)

Feeling compelled to share your opinion. That's the misery bit; a common misery. Also maybe the inability to appreciate music that lacks novelty. There are other virtues beside originality, and all subtlety lies in repetition.
