I followed exactly time and it came out perfectly with out cracked. ( 🥰I used oven shelf the bottom one,no fan,hot water and last but not least if you have small thermometer hang inside the oven it ll help a lot to chk the temperature try not over the instructions.) hope my small tricks ll help to make the perfect one.and thank you once again for best recipes Apron 🥰.Yada

Base on your recipe for the oven temperature is only 1 temp control. For mine oven have the up and down temperature control. How to set the temperate on the down heat? I always have the problems on the down temperature as most of recipe is only given one temperature. I have tried your chocolate cotton sponge cake yesterday and today, the top of the cake surface is always crack. I have also tried your Cheddar cheese chiffon cake is cracked. Usually for bottom heat should be more than the upper heat by how many deg or can I put the same temperature for up & down heat? Pls advise. Even though is cracked but the texture is nice and fragrance. Thanks.

Hi, the baking step is Step1 Bake in preheated oven at 120°C / 250°F in water bath for 20 minutes Step2 Adjust the temperature to 150°C / 300°F bake in water bath for 20 minutes Step3 Adjust the temperature to 110°C / 230°F bake in water bath for 40-50 minutes Step4 Turn off the oven and take out the water tray leave the cake in oven for 10 minutes, then take out the cake

Thank you for all your recipes. I love it and tried some of your recipes and very good. But yesterday I tried Japanese cheesecake it came out not look like in the picture. The top of cheesecake not look brown like yours mine look like light color of egg and cake is not soft. I don’t know what did I do wrong I think maybe I confused about baking on the first step I put the cake in the oven before I turn the oven on 250F what u say bake in preheated oven 250F for 20minutes I don’t know is it right or not. I don’t know what did I do wrong. If you can give me some ideas maybe I will try again next time. Thank you.
