How to make commercials in Japan: make happy people dance enthusiastically as their lives depend on it while showing the product. How to make commercials in Europe: show absolutely nothing about the product but show weird footage of random stuff completely unrelated trying to present a different storyline, place the product at the end like you should buy it or something. How to make commercials in America: explosions, chicks in bikinis, a lot of shouting. Maybe throw a famous celebrity in there too.

I have multiple Japanese friends that say they honestly think most ads in Japan are nonsense and Japan needs to quit being so "out there" as they put it. I think they are funny personally but not everyone over there seems to think so anymore. Could just be a generation shift.
