This video has been created for those who are learning Japanese language.
It's only used hiragana and katakana.
There is no kanji.
So it's perfect for people who are not good at Kanji.
You can also learn Japanese that are actually used.
Let's listen to real Japanese that is not in ordinary Japanese textbooks.
I'm paying a lot of attention to Japanese subtitles. But I'm not good at writing English, so there may be some mistakes in English subtitles.
Please consider English subtitles to be your help only if you don't understand my Japanese.

I was binge-watching all of your videos again and I was really happy to see a new one. It must be really difficult for you to do these videos, there is a lot of work involved, but I think all the people who watch your videos are really grateful for them and fell a step closer to Japan. Thank you so much Yusuke sensei!

I think a lot of people (including me) find this kind of content really useful for learning japanese. It's really easy and fun to engage with the conversation format. Not only you can feel it flows so naturally and catches your attention from the start, but also you can notice the differents ways of speaking everyone has and I find it amazing. I'm just about to finish these conversation series :( but I hope you consider doing more! Thank you so much for your hard work, you really make us japanese learners very happy. 7:15 Definitely. I second the idea that studying a foreign language at an elder age is not harder than at any other age. Actually, studies show that it sustains a proper functioning of a human's brain, also (they say) helps in preventing such conditions as Alzheimer. It is an amazing "work-out" exercise for the brain, and anyone can do it, at their own pace. Thank you for allowing us to watch this interview, really useful and interesting. Thaks a lot for this very interesting conversation. Touching many aspect of real life , Japan compared with Australia.I noticed every time Peter san talking about his life in japan his eyes are shining , he loves Japan very much.Impressive how much time he applies in learning Japanese. IMO He was lucky because the match of girl (love) and his inner passion for Japan , was a big boost for his improvment.. I'm jealous about this Many problems that you have spoke are same in Italy, low birthrate , aging of population , immigrants, ( especially from Africa, and muslim countries), corona virus , pandemia.Thank you, arigatou sorry for my bad english.

My Japanese is still not very good, but I can understand quite well Peter-san. Being italian, for me the pronunciation of Japanese is easy and quite natural, but for english speaking people is not easy. Peter has a very good pronunciation. My wife is from Shirahama, prefecture of Wakayama, maybe you went there, Peter-san!.

Well Leopardo, I once translated a line in a Drifters song as "In Shirahama, maybe there's someone who loves ya". I love sort of obscene Japanese/English rhymes. Play it too your wife, see if she approves! kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIrQeaFtft6SqNE

I really appreciate all your videos! Interviews, shopping, random walks, all. They're great! I know that you've addressed it before, by nonetheless maybe you're interested in your crowd's opinion. I'm a huge proponent of learning kanji as soon as possible. It not only allows one to read and gives an invaluable insight into the language and its inner workings, but makes the vocabulary memorization a lot easier. You subtitle your videos with just hiragana. I think there's only a narrow slice of beginner language learners who benefit from kana-only subtitles. It's when your listening is not yet good enough to distinguish individual sounds or whole words. In that case with hiragana you can make sure you've heard it right. In case of you've videos they're (in my opinion) aimed at intermediate and advanced learners, people who know enough words and grammar so that the videos are of benefit to them (they can make sense of the content even if they don't understand it all). The thing is that those people in most cases have enough kanji under their belt so that hiragana-only subtitles are hard to read and follow. I think furigana is the way to go - it's still helpful to beginners (and also makes them used to how Japanese looks like) and also to intermediate and advances learners. Surely I'm biased here because I based the above solely on my own observations. I consider myself an intermediate Japanese learner. I know enough kanji so that I would be able to make sense of the words I don't know, trying to guess their meanings. Because I don't have any problems with distinguishing the words I don't find hiragana-only subtitles useful. They're really hard to follow. I would like to read a Japanese script, but without kanji in it I have to refer to the english translation. Again, I really appreciate your content! I know how much effort it takes to prepare subtitles. If kanji+furigana would increase your workload too much - don't worry about it! Thanks!

I sincerely thank you for your opinion to me. I feel that this channel is supported by people like you, who are passionate about learning Japanese. I also feel I should make and post videos with subtitles using Kanji. But there are a lot of videos with such ordinary subtitles not only on KZbin and Netflix, but all over the world, right ? And kanji subtitles with furigana are quite labor for me as a general office worker. Certainly, as you say, japanese sentences without Kanji are difficult to read and follow. Moreover, kanji should be used for all learners to learn what Japanese is. Of course I understand that. However, there are many people who cannot be interested in learning Japanese because they watch videos with Kanji subtitles and recognize that learning Japanese is extremely difficult. I want them to open the door to learning Japanese. This channel is also meant to be a stepping stone for those people to become interested in learning Japanese. Having said that, your opinion is not wrong. I seem to need to think more about it. Thanks (^3^)/

I think maybe the main issue her A Pid is a practical one, do you know of a good furigana text tool that could be used for formatting the text to go on a video? Simple word editors like Google Docs don't do furigana. I imagine there must be a fairly automated option out there, someone might be able to suggest something...I would be interested to know for my own channel also.

ゆうすけさんは地震を怖がらないのか?すごいですね。私の人生に地震を経験したことは一度しかない。あのとき、台湾に旅行しに行ったんだ。近所のおばさんたちは大声で叫んだ、どこかに走った。今思うと笑えるが、あのとき私はすごく怖かった。地面に飲み込まれるの恐れは怖くないの?
