I would love to see a game mode that fills the match with only one ship class. Imagine the fun of a destroyer-only or cruiser-only game. Full BB games would be boring though, it will be full of backline-betties buffing their Deweys... :)

Thas funny because 90% of bbs never push because no one goes after the DDs. You remove them and put a only bb match you definitely gunna see BBS rushing lol. Dont go asuming that stupid crap lol. First of all look into why bbs sit back, and look at the fact that NOBODY USUALLY HELPS THE BBS LMAO. Fuking help the bbs deal with the DD and they will definitely start pushing. To bad 90% of the community doesnt play as a team and OFTEN ignores the DDs and lets them get by to sink said BB

I think that Gunboats have an issue with using guns. I use all DD’s, Mostly IJN and Russian, but as a IJN torp boat I have beaten many gun boats because that want to try and torp me in a gun fight instead of just shooting my. (I know some with longer reloads are fine) The fights I have won I literally left with no health and one more salvo would have killed me, but they just have to get those Torps off.

That Akizuki on your team was playing it like a torp boat. I don't even think he used his guns. That's weird. The other day I was in a game where an uptiered Benham on the enemy team gunned down our Gearing. The Gearing never fired his guns! Just tried to run away, hide, and throw torps. I just don't understand some of these players

Players scared of shooting lol, it's like playing a FPS game and be afraid to shoot or to be shot back. I usually get pretty mad, but then I think that it's propably a 7yo kid playing it

@@l.palacio9076 actually that is why I don't rage. My 8 year old is always begging me to play. He runs around in circles, shoots the Blue Team, and hits every island. When I see people playing weird I just imagine it's a little kid, it doesn't seem that serious after that

Nothing to understand, they are bad players. You can get a Gearing without have played any DD at all.

I chose torp booster vs smokes because the high probability of ships with radars in these tiers. Still trying each game to spot, cap and do my dd job like you teach. But the smokes saved me less than the extra barrage of torps were useful to me, and eventually the kills. If there were less radar boats I would definitely go back to smokes.

I think because of the powerful torpedoes and the good concealment, the Japanese DDs are best suited to “poor” playing (I.e.: the torping back line ships). While they are very fun, I don’t think they should be some of the first lines to be picked up.

Yes. As a DD "main" they are the leat effective DD line you can start with, highly specialised, torping BBs as a speciality is NOT important.

I noticed something German destroyer players usually use HE more than AP in fights Would be nice to get something to make the fuse of AP in DDs a bit shorter just so they don't get much overpens against DDs

All about the torp reload on the Japanese torp boat. Just don’t fire them guns and crush them. Drive away if you get spotted.

The playbook says that the more IJN dds there are on your team the higher your chances of losing and vice versa

IJN torpedo boat HE are very powerful so even though some might think they are not gun boats....one slip(sending torpedo)or misses from guns and that can be ur ass.

Just about every game I had today the DDS were ineffective. They were sunk early or left their cap. I hope there’s a training room soon.
