Hi Kurt. Almost like a mini Olympic Games. Japan really has it together, having events like this for their young people. I could see that Emily was having a fantastic time. She found you in the audience and waved to her mama and papa. You truly are blessed . And again I say Thank You, ...................Doug

LOl When they were passing the giant ball, it reminded me of my High school graduation this year! Some people from the audience threw a beach ball at us during the Mayor Carson's (my town) speech! He was so polite about it, too! I wish we had sports festivals in my elementary school. we only had one in 4th grade, and it ended up in me having a bloody knee.

Back in those innocent days, they used to be completely open to the public. But after the society became aware many pervs are videotaping kids and sharing on the net, it became rather strict. You have to prove you are a family member to be admitted.

Competitive games are improvised, but mass games and marching performances are practiced a month in advance using physical education time. If you do that in your country, there will be no schools you want to do because you could be sued for child abuse or your school could be charged if you were injured.

i love japan and its culture and i love watching your videos.! but i have a question. are you one of the families who ignore the type of bullying that has become culture to the Japanese schools that lead to suicide. also what do you think about the new poor? the ppl who have to have 3 jobs just to survive? what do you think about racial profiling, specially with the ainu? your daughter looked cute in the dance haha thanks for sharing :D

It is an organizational problem that exists in any country. It doesn't happen very often in Japan, as the Japanese media reports a lot. Just because another country's media doesn't cover that country's bullying culture doesn't mean that the country's bullying culture is less prevalent than Japan's.
@endnami3 жыл бұрын
@@보라돌이ioi Absolut any culture any country has the same issue. The degrees to which these are in them as an acceptable practice vary in degrees, and despite how they're covered in the medium and it's individual country impact of it it's not the same. Or are you proposing that even though it exists in all of them it's the same statistical impact? The reasons why I'm asking these questions is not as a form of shame to the owner of the channel. I'm more interested in their perspective on these issues, as they are unique in their country and how it is handled. If you can't manage to separate the conversation in your own defensive feelings then you're going to have a hard time understanding people and their cultures.
@endnami3 жыл бұрын
@@cemor3876 thanks man that was a cool doc.
@보라돌이ioi3 жыл бұрын
@@endnami I just wanted to say that you don't have to worry more than necessary because of the biased information you get from the media. I just want to say that this isn't the right question for you to ask a channel owner who just filmed a happy picture of his or her child. The information you need can be obtained from research data published by scholars in each country or from national statistical data, and you can easily obtain it as a PDF document through Google. Shame? Why are you so aggressive and serious?

school bullying.come on there are lots of documentaries about this and proff in numbers if you like. as far as racism, japan use to be like n. korea. "we hate those immigrants why are they here" sort of feeling though there is worse. ive spoken and met with teachers who have lived there for years. now japan is not too bad on that. im satisfied to hear that you did not questoin about the new poor. im happy.
