I tried a Lego technic piece and then a standard head, although they fitted the fader, they didn't fit my 3D printed case (I live in South America, so I cannot get Etsy stuff or Decksavers), so I put on the OG fader, crossed fingers and worked -not fadergated!! I must say, when I received my KO II, TE already had fixed the packaging, no black rubber, but actual protection for the fader within the package. Fadergate no more for newer KO IIs.

That’s good to hear. I had one of the first releases of the KO so I didn’t want to ad the original fader cap. The Lego head fits but I had to put a small piece of paper on the inside to make it fit snug.
