I love how you worked around the weird no quantized transitions of the ep 133. Great idea and execution. Want to buy this thing, but am worried about live performing and this gave me a good feeling bout it. still not sure. Also, great music. the trasition from sample to sampled in rock it slow was gold shit.

Hi! Good Vibes....Love the transitions from one project (song) to the next!! Could you tell me what the connection is between KO133 and the Raindrops? Is there anything else needed to achieve this? What other cheaper pedal would work, I also mean if it has to be a delay effect... Thanks!!
@TaylorBoy3 күн бұрын
Thanks for the watching and showing love! I chose this particular pedal because it was a delay/reverb pedal that has a few different modes and I just took a chance and bought it after doing a lot of research and watching videos. I’m sure it can be done with other cheaper pedals, but I was already familiar with the DreadBox products. I also wanted to make sure the pedal I chose has stereo outputs. As far as the connection goes, the output of the KO is connected to the inputs of the pedal. The cable connected to the output of the KO is a 3.5mm TRS Male to Dual 1/4-inch TS Male. The outputs of the pedal is going into the inputs of my audio interface. I hope I answered all of your questions. If not, just feel free to reach out again. Appreciate it!

Actually you did an amazing work,any tips to learn work live? Thank you
@TaylorBoy7 ай бұрын
Thanks for taking the time out to listen. I’m not expert by any means. This is my first live so based on what I did here is a small list I came up with: Focus on making the beat first. Make two to three sequences. Then map out the order of how you want to sequence to be in the live performance. For these beats. I mostly did an intro, four bar hooks, and 16 bar verses. Keep the listener engaged by making change up at least every four bars. When you make beats on the KO it’s good to keep all of your sounds organized in the same groups for each beat. So when you transition into new beats you’ll know where everything is at. For example. I do drums in group A and the main sample in group B, the bass in C, and other samples in group D. That is all I can think of now. If you would like to know more let me know.

Who needs an MPC? This little thing is so badass. Very cool multi-movement piece of music there. EDIT: aka beat tape lol. Did you sample at twice the speed from the SP202 or use the low sample grade? This should have a low sample grade too but doesn't.
@TaylorBoy9 ай бұрын
Appreciate it bro! It was a combo of both. On the SP, I used the low sample grade (lofi 1) on the samples and the standard mode on all of the drums. I also I sampled twice the speed on maybe the last four or five beats.
@electrosonicnebula9 ай бұрын
@@TaylorBoy Perfect I love the SP202 I'm going to use my Circuit Rhythm to sample stuff and resample from KOII- Keep em coming, you have a super feel for this stuff!!!. You could also have used your SP202 as your effect pedal for the transitions right?
@TaylorBoy9 ай бұрын
Thanks man, more to come! I can’t wait to see what you come up with. I probably could have used the SP for transitions, I didn’t think to try it. Maybe I’ll work it into the live workflow someday.

@@TaylorBoy Thanks man. I heard people love the sp202 for its effects too. I've liked and subscribed and will be checking your music out for sure, should get my KO II in a month or so.
