I love the idea of having a countryside part of this world, it also makes total sense that it would be partly modernized because that happens all over the world, the mix of new development and old farms. This house feels very authentic, apart from the basement, Japanese houses don’t have basements, but for gameplay it’s very useful. Edit: it’s also absolutely gorgeous and so lush and I want to live there forever!

from what i've seen from the family/slice of life anime like doraemon, chibi maruko chan, shinchan, etc... they always have the shoe rack / little shoe cabinet after the front door so you put the shoes to the rack and change to the house slippers and a mirror so you can see yourself and getting ready before going outside..., they usually love watching tv with family, sitting on the floor in the living room with the kotatsu (like the low table with the blanket), and they also eat there while watching tv with the family instead of the dining room, japanese home usually have a lot of storage room/closet with the sliding door so their room always looks so clean and minimalist (they put the futon in the storage closet so the room feels more spacious)... you did a really good job building this as always like all of your building!

Nice build and a super creative idea...from ehat i've seen from some japanese homes is that they use an micro oven to warm up their food. A similar one that came with dream home decorator.... though it probably depends on the house and where they live etc...

This build is GORGEOUS and I am obsessed! I love the idea of making this district more countryside than modern, but I'd love to see modern homes too! I guess older farms like this are renovated eventually, so it would make sense for a mix of older farms and modern homes in this area! It's really beautiful and feels so realistic!!

TwistedMexi who created the TOOL mod has some great tutorials for beginners here on their youtube! I learned so much from them. Also: Some items won't rotate on all of the axis (mainly live edit and other debug items), that may have been why the snowboard wasn't cooperating.

For Japanese people it will depend on the style of the house they are living in. Japanese style house will have usually have futons, while a modern western style home will use beds with matress. Of cource it depends on the person as well. Someone with a small apartment may choose a futon to save space.

hey simlicy, i have these few ideas for the rio verde lot in oasis springs, but honestly, it can really be up to u with the genders and careers and amount of rooms. one idea is it would be nice to have a big hispanic style house (specially spanish villa ) or Mediterranean style house (because to me they look similar) and it can just 4 bedrooms and have a household that is like a grandma living with her daughter and her daughter's family ( a husband, a teen girl, and a boy) and she just moved in with them because her daughter just had a baby and because both of the parents are so busy, they dont really have much time for their kids so they needed someone to help out with the baby. the teen girl and boy can be sharing a room and the baby can be in parents room. Just for like a little more on the family, the teen girl has always taken care of her young brother because the parents arent around, the dad works as a chef and the mom works as a doctor. retirement home, personally i dont think that if there ever were to be a retirement home then it shouldn't be in like the district where all the public areas would be, but thats just a personal choice, maybe it wouldnt really look like it belongs there in that district but its just an idea but maybe in newcrest, in the optimist's outlook lot. my third idea is to have a house either spanish villa or Mediterranean house, and to make it for a household of 5, so it can be 2 parents and child (or toddler) and twins. The dad is a busy private attorney and the mom is a stay at home mom but used to be a floral designer. So the dad reads a lot on his free time and helps take care of the kids, and the mom likes to take care of plants, read, paint, and takes care of the kids, she sells paintings that she does on her free time so its not meant to be her job

Beautiful ❤ I only know how to use the tool mod to move thing off the lot 😂 I am learning how to size and rotate it’s hard for me because I am not good with math at all so I don’t know what to put in 😢 I don’t know why when I was in my 20’s 30’s and 40’s I was so much more creative than I am now. I’m almost 60 and my creativity seems to have gone out the door 😂 or I have the idea just can’t remember how to do it 😂 and then it will take me days or weeks to build something. 😮😂❤
