I lived in Kawagoe for a few years about 20 yrs ago. very nostalgic! This is the old town there is also a lot of good coffee shops and curry houses in the streets near Hon kawagoe train station, if things haven't changed too much. thank you for posting....many memories If I remember correctly Kawagoe is also famous for Unagi (eels)

8:42 you’d just said “it’s impossible to find bins in Japan, then here 2 people pushing huge green bins. It made me chuckle 😂 I’m not doubting you I’ve heard many many times there just aren’t bins around

Were you waddling a bit after the 4th meal?? Shish, you can eat a lot of food, but you make some yummy-looking decisions.

Really enjoyed the video. If I could I would give it twenty thumbs up. How do you stay so slim? If I ate that much you would have to roll me around. I’m glad you do eat everything you do because you have the best food channel. I follow others but I like yours best. Please keep them coming. ありがとうございます I hope that says thank you.

Your sweet potatoes are pale and yellow, ours are a deep dark orange color. I love sweet potatoes and so does my dog. It's her favorite treat. She gets vety excited and happy when i say," sweet potato time!"

Yeah I’d end up getting drunk. Good thing japans public drinking laws are different. (I would still follow the law of course)

I enjoy all of your videos but today's was super awesome! The Kaiseki restaurant's dishes were beautiful. They were perfect example of wabisabi & gave the restaurant a touch of elegance. The beer at the end looked delicious. I love amber beers. Btw, sweet potatoes can be used as a coffee substitute & I thought you were going to drink some during your coffee break. LOL!

Honestly, sweet potato is not my favorite food, but I like it if it was fried, either as a wedges sweet potato or thinly fried like you just ate in this video. The one which stole my attention were Dorayaki and Tamago Sandwich. Also, I'm curious to try out sake. Isn't it the same like soju in taste? Thank you for showing us another great destination and food! I hope you are stay healthy and happy ☺️

I like a baked sweet potato, or sweet potato fries. I do have to admit a curiosity about the sweet potato aperitif, though. Thank you for this adventure.

I'm curious. I've had tomagoyaki before and I don't recall any of them looking that brown. Is there a reason this one was so brown? The sweet potato set you had looked "beautiful" as you said. Wow. Had no idea sweet potato could also be au gratin style too.

My two favorite ways to have sweet potato is yaki-imo (steamed sweet potato) and daigaku-imo (candied sweet potato with black sesame seeds). I'm sure it would be possible to find either of these treats in a place like this, I know another place added to my list!

I enjoy Japanese food so much. I might try making a tamagoyaki sando! I just got home with a loaf of milk bread (had to drive two hours to get it along with some other Japanese foods.) I have a tamagoyaki pan and am ok at making it. Thank you for the videos. You inspired me to try these things and I'm having fun because of it.
