lol thanks bro, now that you mention i really haven't released any of these in japan ne? XD! i'm surrounded by kyoto dialect for the most part in Japan, which really helps but at first I was super lost. after taking some courses for kyoto/osaka-ben, i was able to pick it up way better, but my wife's grandma's kyoto dialect still gets me lost until now. thanks for your support as always kazu bro.

Ahh, these videos are actually so entertaining and I actually learn a lot! Being a Korean-American, my Korean is at a pretty good level but I'm still studying. I'm also at an okay level for Japanese since I started studying about a year ago as well so seeing that English, Korean, and Japanese are the three main languages you use on this channel, it's very helpful to me

yeah i agree that Osaka is not as laid back as Kyoto, but i think the environment in Osaka is more laid back compared to let’s say Tokyo. (Tokyo is always busy busy but even Osaka especially in Dotonbori where i always would go to) btw i also love Osaka! lots of good street food 😋

Hi Adan, new sub here. It’s like 4am San Diego time and I just watched a handful of your vids through a random KZbin recommendation, yes I should be sleeping. I understand everyone has their pace, but on average, if a person can dedicate about 6-7hrs a week toward learning Japanese, how long would you think it would take to be able to have small conversations? Your vids are very informative and entertaining btw.
@AdanSensei
@AdanSensei 8 ай бұрын
Welcome Charles (awesome name btw 😁 l Welcome to the channel and thank you for your support. Your pace is the rate that my students would usually go through our coaching. Done the right way you can have some great simple conversations in 3 months. Some people that have been studying for a while but just never spoke can go even faster. It depends on the person but I think 3 months is a good goal to aim for. Make sure you find people in HT or italki though 👍💪

his japanese is great, but I can say from living in japan for years. His choice of words is incredibly rude sometimes, ahaha. You can tell he learned from anime, cause sometimes there is zero disregard for politeness, even when he is talking to his elders.
@AdanSensei
@AdanSensei 6 ай бұрын
Hey Bro thanks for the comments. Great point on the "rudeness", Shibuya is in party mode so this is just playful rudeness to "shock" people and catch their attention. As you can see in the vid, it's in small bursts and in calculated times. People are laughing and playing along with it. After playing in the end, I do ojigi and thank them for playing along with the "rudeness", and they get it. I did learn some in anime, but I'm fully proficient and fluent in business, keigo, all that other stuff. I currently work for Jp IT company, and I do full keigo to my customers 😄 The point of rules is to know when to break them and in what way. Congrats on living in Japan, it's fun! Loved the comment 🤩
