【Japanese Honeybees】Measures against Hive Collapse

Based on the experience of hive collapse last year, I've learned and this year I've made a sunshade using discarded materials for heat protection. I bought three blinds for about 1500 yen. It provides a space that doesn't interfere with the bees' flight or honey harvesting activities, and I believe it effectively blocks sunlight from the east, south, and west directions.

Thank you for your comment. Japan is currently in the middle of the rainy season, and daytime temperatures are around 32°C. However, once the rainy season ends, the real summer begins, with temperatures reaching nearly 40°C. Although there is a water source nearby, I experienced the loss of a swarm due to hive collapse last year, so I have taken precautions by providing sunshades.

A vy v Japonsku nedáváte do přídavných nástavků rámky s natavenými voskovými mezistěnami ? To vám to včely opravdu vystaví jako dokonalé mezistěny ? A jak potom med vytáčíte ? A to že se vám včely rojí,tak to se rojí i nám . Práci zdar.
