Thank you so much for making this video! I have some questions though, do these covers work for omnibus editions? What if I had hardcover mangas like Fragments of Horror and Uzumaki? Are there available sizes for these as well? I have some books that are a little bit bigger than a signature edition would the signature covers be okay for them as well? Thank you!

Ran Kuruta unfortunately not, for some. I know the purple standard size works for my I am A hero omnibus, but that's it. Uzumaki, Vinland saga and the other tall hardcover fancy ones I'm not so sure. I remember ordering one, I think, its D5 I think, I just remembering it having a black label where the color should be, fitting on my Akira Omnibus. The issue with that, is only one sleeve comes in the pack, didn't feel worth the import. I would measure the books and try clearbags.com -- sorry I couldn't be more help.

btw you weren't putting them on backwards, just in the wrong order, cause the sticking side is supposed to be at the back of the book so it doesn't annoy you, and the wait of the book will make the plastic take the shape of the bend easily when it lies on its back

Well the inflation rate, definitely increased shipping across the globe. I imported a product from jp recently and shipping was 4,300 yen which is about $32 its pretty rough. But it ships fast.

Yeah so the books you are referring to are shonens, so it would be the sleeves that fit on my platinum end book

Oh yea, if you research Mie Mie manga protectors or Mie Mie transparent covers, those are the ones that fit Japanese manga. Not sure where you get them, but I would do some research on which colors to get cause there is like 9 different sizes. Sorry I couldn't help more.

@@BraulioPianoTutorials the only thing I think of that would give you a snug fit for your manga from top to bottom, would be to shrink wrap your Manga, but I wouldn't recommend that, cause the heat from shrink wrapping might cause some damage. I don't think any company makes a size so snug for manga to be honest.

If it's the standard manga size, I would not recommend the B6, it would be too large. You would need to go down a size.

If you bend it too far, unfortunately it will still crease. It really only protects from small liquids, bookshelf scratches and some yellowing.

Well Japanese prints are smaller in size. The first manga that I sleeved is printed in Original Japanese size print, so yea the one with green label should fit. I should have mentioned that in the video, but i didn't learn about that until months later after shooting this footage. Hope this helps though.

Sure No problem! I've notice that shonen books will only fit on the purple packaged sleeves. If you do pink, it will be too big and green too small. 😅 Hope this was quick enough

I wish I knew. The best thing to do is measure your book with a tape measure, and purchase a clear bag slightly larger than your book. I haven't gotten into that series yet but heard great things.

These are a double edge sword. I live in southeast asia and its super hot here in my country so i am kinda scared because of humidity. Do you think i should still buy these kind of plastics? I might buy one just to protect my manga from dust but i am still hesitating if i should buy these.

I know where your coming from, I live in a tropical hot area as well. Humidity is going to get to the books regardless, I don't think there is a way to stop that unfortunately. But the plastic is a good buy to protect the front and back covers from getting stained, liquid or shelf damage from moving your books around. Dust is going to effect your books more the lower on the shelf they are, but not so much if you keep dusting them once a month. They are a good buy if you like to keep your Manga in good condition and fingerprint free lol.

The pink one is more for Viz Media's Signature line. where the purple one is for there standard size books. Platinum end, Attack on Titan , ect.

That means you wrapped it to tight usually. It happens to me sometimes too. Unstuck it where the tape is, and stick it a bit loosely, that should help

@@lorxsan4982 that is correct, due to the fact its coming straight from japan, the import cost is insane. what i usually do when I order the protectors is, I order a lot of them so it justifies the Import cost. I wouldnt recommend buying 1 or 2 packs, you would just be paying for importing them at that point.

Are the dragon ball manga the thick omnibus books right? if the B6 is too small going a size up might be a waste of money unfortunately cause it will be too big. Take measuremets of the book and I'll test it out for you.

I have the protectors on some of my omnibus manga, but they're two volumes big, I think 3 vol in one large book will be too big for the protectors to get around. I have manga called Moteki and the protectors don't fit it, I think its 3 vol sized omnibus as well. Sorry Damian, hope this helps a little bit.
